2020 Lincoln Aviator | 2018 LA Auto Show

Hey everybody, this is Megan with
CarGurus, and I’m at the LA Auto Show standing next to the 2020 Lincoln
Aviator. Lincoln wants to build on the success of its larger Navigator with
this three-row luxury midsize crossover. The conventional Aviator will have a
3-liter V6 making 400 horsepower. The Grand Touring hybrid is estimated to
make 450 horsepower and an astounding 600 pound-feet of torque. A plug-in
hybrid will also be available, but we’re still waiting on official specs like
range and horsepower. Inside the Aviator creates a more comfortable atmosphere
with a new feature. If the car needs to alert you to something, you’ll hear
symphonic chimes performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra
created 125 options, and Lincoln chose the best six for three types of warnings.
The new Lincoln Aviator is as much focused on technology as it is on luxury.
Using Phone as a Key technology, you can lock, unlock, and remotely start your
vehicle, and there are forward-facing cameras that can see the road ahead and
stiffen the suspension if necessary. Pricing isn’t available yet, but we
expect it to compete with other three- row midsize luxury crossovers like the
BMW X7 and the Lexus RX L. Look for the new Lincoln Aviator on dealer lots next
summer. For more information from CarGurus at the LA Auto Show, click here to
