  18. I don't know why people are complaining that there was no new gameplay footage. C'mon, Sucker Punch was giving everyone a back-stage pass into their development process, travels, conversations with someone with Samurai lineage, and so much more. Is the world really lacking as much culture as I'm hoping it's not? I'm surprised that I don't have a concussion from the sheer amount of facepalming I have done to myself.

  19. I hope when game developer making a serious samurai game like this, they should at least hire a Japanese martial art instructor to guide them through the details.

    I mean, Japanese martial arts are not that mystical, a lot of koryu schools from the history are still existing and thousands of students around the world are still participating the art of sword. Thus it shouldn't be too hard to get proper information and instruction.

    From the trailer I have already spotted some basic mistakes, such as when someone praises a sword, the kissake(tip of the sword) should point to the left and blade faces to the front; when doing chudan kamae, the kissake should not point higher than the opponent's throat or chest, etc.

    I might sound fussy but I really have high hope to this game, i just hope that the developers can stick to the Japanese traditions and do it right.

  20. I am shocked to be honest that there hasn't been an open world game set in Japan (ancient or modern) before this. Its such a popular and gorgeous location to set a big game in, both rural and urban.

I wonder how the stealth gameplay will turn out to be and if they made the enemies smarter than in other games i want something new and crazy like hanging up on the ceiling letting poison drip in the mouth of a sleeping guy with a sting and cool takedowns maybe even a few more weapons like a kusarigama or falcons talons like in ninja gaiden for hands and feet please make it come true that would be so cool

  24. I got chills when the crowd cheered for Japanese dialogue. The gameplay trailer wasn’t in Japanese at e3 but hopefully that changes!
