Meet the Class: Why Mount Mercy

My name is Tara Soeder. My name is Matthew Tremain.
Dave Koch. Erin McNamara. Emilio Ramos. Ryanne Stockton. Why did you
decide to attend Mount Mercy? I decided to attend Mount Mercy because of the small
campus and the really good nursing program they have here. I decided to
attend Mount Mercy because A) the bowling team and 2) because when I came to visit
campus, I saw how beautiful it was and I knew this was the place for me. Because
of the format of the classes, I appreciate the one night a week for
several hours and just that interaction with other students. Because when I was
applying to different universities a lot of those other universities were simply
just automated email responses or you know, automated phone calls, and when I
was applying to Mount Mercy I actually had someone on the phone who actually
cared and wanted to help me. Why did you decide to attend Mount Mercy? I decided to
attend Mount Mercy, because I was very heavily involved in music at my high
school and one of our, kind of professionals that came in and played
with us, he was like, “hey, I’d love to have you there, come play for me.” My employer
reimburses for coming here and I know people have gone here, and they’ve just
had a blast and they’ve really excelled.
