Tom Riley – Land Use Committee

My name is Tom Riley and I’m a member
of the Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council I am also the chairman of the Land Use
Committee. The purpose of the Land Use Committee is to review and discuss with
developers the projects they want to bring to Lake Balboa. After discussing
those projects with the developer we then make our recommendations to Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council for discussion and decision on project
itself. We then advise the City Council office, the Planning Department, and
developer what the community response to his or her project was. The goal of the
Land Use Committee is to provide projects that are an asset to the
community and reject those that are a detriment to the community. If you would
like to get some more information, or if you’d be interested in joining the
committee or just attending the meetings, please go to Lake Balboa Neighborhood
Council website, look up Tom Riley. Give me a call and I’ll give you all the
details.
